LoMA is Locher Modern Art GmbH – an eclectic team of art historians, professional restorers and advisers founded by Andreas Locher. We are a small company founded in 2008 in Switzerland and based in Zurich. We buy, we sell to provide high quality and exciting works of art.We are a passionate team supported by our academic backgrounds, however, our working strategy is based on lucid communication and efficient business practice.

LoMA – our 4 Principles

3. Reliability
4. Passion

1. Quality

We sell works of art that fulfil the highest standards of quality.
LoMA sells aesthetic works as well as those of cultural and historical value – our artists are part of art history.
Conservation is an important aspect in a work’s quality and, where aesthetically and economically appropriate, some of our works are restored by the best professionals in the field.
We sell art that gives pleasure in daily life both emotionally and economically.

2. Authenticity

Our works of art are scientifically researched, authentically restored and authentificated by specialists. Whenever appilcable we provide certificates for the works offered.

3. Reliability

To be reliable in an ever-shifting society is the goal we constantly want to achieve. To this end we build genuine and transparent long-term relationships with the people we work with and who genuinely care for our clients and the works we sell.

4. Passion

We work with art because our passion is our profession.
We strongly identify ourselves with art, its meaning and value.
